Various saunas with different temperatures and infusions ensure a soothing time in our wellness hotel in Carinthia. After your sauna session, you can cool off in the crystal-clear, clean water of Lake Millstätter See and use one of the relaxation rooms for breaks between your sauna sessions. A relaxing and beneficial time in our sauna area is guaranteed!
The lake sauna
Unique at Lake Millstätter See! After your sauna session, you can go straight from the sauna into the lake for a swim.
The lakeside sauna is built on stilts directly in the lake. From the sauna cabin, you have a great view of the lake and the mountain scenery. The lakeside sauna can accommodate up to twelve people.

The bio-garnet sauna
The bio-garnet sauna is modelled on an old mine shaft and is made exclusively of natural materials such as stone, wood and garnet rock (from our garnet town of Radenthein).
The special feature of the garnet sauna is its pleasant temperature. It is heated to a comfortable 60 °C to 70 °C and is therefore not as hot as a Finnish sauna.

The saltwater grotto
The temperature in the saltwater grotto is around 42 degrees Celsius, with a humidity of around 45 per cent. The saltwater is sprayed in by the guests themselves. The bioclimate is similar to that of the sea and has a positive effect on the respiratory system and skin.
The Tepidarium
The name of this warm air bath comes from ancient times. The benches in the tepidarium are pleasantly warm, the hay smells nice and the room temperature is a comfortable 40 degrees Celsius. Many guests use this room to warm up for further, hotter sauna sessions.
